Sarah & Rob’s engagement photos are ones I will NEVER forget! Not just because their Detroit engagement photos were super special, beautiful, and captured in the perfect Spring weather…..NOPE, mostly because as soon as we left, we realized Belle Isle had a 30 minute backup to get into the island. So, we had to come up with a quick backup solution that had a similar look of Belle Isle. Thankfully, I knew the spot, and we were off. On our way, I got into a car accident. ???? UGH! Sarah & Rob were SUPER kind, understanding, and stayed with me the entire time..well, until I forced them to go on a date night, and not let me ruin their night any further. They didn’t leave me without a fight & were uber kind. Thankfully I was fine, but my car was not drive-able & I patiently waited for the hubs to come pick me up. ???? The only positive to this is that we still got to shoot at Belle Isle but on a whole other date! Their photos were during gorgeous golden hour, and I couldn’t have asked for better belle isle engagement photos! Spring engagement photos are freaking beautiful, and honestly, anywhere you go, it’s a great time of the year. Not too hot, not too cold, and if you don’t have to reschedule a bunch due to the rain (only negative) you’ve got it made in my eyes!

I cannot imagine our special day without her. From the moment I inquired back in August of 2020, to our wedding day October 2021, Kate was with us every step of the way. She was amazing at communicating, answering my (many) questions, and making us feel so comfortable in front of the camera! Throughout this process, she\ became a great friend as well. We were so lucky to have Katelynn as our photographer! She was truly amazing to work with! We found Katelynn through a friend who had previously booked her for her wedding. Wedding photos were really important to me and I wanted memories that we could cherish for the rest of our lives. After seeing her work, we knew that we wanted her to capture our wedding day! She made coordinating locations and poses stress free. We had a large bridal party and were a little worried about pictures being chaotic, but Katelynn was so patient with everyone and made it look like a breeze!
